Help us make our 88th year spectacular!
On behalf of the Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, we invite you to participate in the CMSO's 9th Annual Silent Auction Benefit. This season's Silent Auction Benefit will take place during our winter concert on Sunday, February 21, 2010.
The CMSO is a small community orchestra, so we rely on the generosity of Chicago area service and business leaders for support. As this is our primary fundraiser of the year, we'd like to make a request for a donation to be utilized as a silent auction prize at the benefit. In exchange for your generosity, your company will receive recognition in the concert program for our February and May concerts this season.
If you are able to make a contribution to this event, please download this form (requires Adobe Reader to view), and mail it back to us. Prizes should not expire before February 21, 2011. All proceeds benefit the CMSO. If you have donated in the past, we thank you kindly for your support and hope you will support us again this year.

The Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization, and has been making beautiful music for people of Chicago for 87 years. Although our annual budget is supplemented through membership dues and we strive to obtain reduced rates for rehearsal space and performance fees, our costs are significant. In order to continue to bring high-quality, live orchestral music to Chicago, we ask for your support through our Share the Music initiative.
There are four levels of contribution:
- Encore Patron: $300 or more
- Symphony Patron: $100 to $299
- Overture Patron: $50 to $99
- Concerto Patron: $25 to $49
All contributions are acknowledged in the orchestra program and receive an official "thank you" letter from the orchestra. Encore donations also receive two season tickets.
