Membership Information
The Orchestra comprises men and women of all ages and walks of life. We are currently seeking to add string musicians to our roster. We also have openings for a limited number of wind and percussion musicians. Our performance and rehearsal season runs from September through May. We rehearse every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the Joy Faith Knapp Music Center, home of the Merit School of Music at 38 S. Peoria St. (between Monroe & Madison). We perform four concerts during the year. Any musician capable of playing orchestral music is encouraged to inquire. For more information, contact Dan Laino, Personnel Manager of the 2008-09 season.
